Thank you to the riders who came out on October 29 for the Ulster County Horse Council fundraiser trail ride Saddle Up for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (and picked up after themselves) and those who donated to support them! We raised close to $1600.00! Please remember to support the Rosendale and other businesses who donated incentive prizes for highest sponsorships!

UCHC has a number of events planned for 2018 in addition to hosting the NYSHC Annual Meeting. We are looking forward to an active year! 

If you have not yet joined the New York State Horse Council or renewed your membership for 2017, please join the Ulster County Chapter or your local chapter online at the NYSHC website, or you may join at any meeting. UCHC meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of every month and are open to all interested in promoting equine interests in Ulster County. We would love to have your input and hope to see you there!

The purpose  of the Ulster County Horse Council is to establish and maintain a corporate organization run by volunteers, encouraging cooperation and participation among people who are interested in preserving, promoting and improving the overall equine industry in Ulster County, New York.
